Dubbed the Reverse Shattered Backboards, or as Jordan Shoes 2017 calls them the “Shattered Backboard Away”, this Air Jordan 1 features a premium leather upper that combines Sail, Starfish, and Black and uses the same color blocking as the Air Jordan 1 Chicago but with hits of orange instead of red. Special Shattered Backboard insoles have also been added like the original pair to complete the theme. This time around Solefly’s Cutler Bay location will be releasing a very limited-edition colorway of the silhouette paying homage to the Florida Marlins. Coated entirely in Seafoam Green, its reminiscent of the classic South Beach colorway seen on a countless models, minus the pink detailing.
While seen on the feet of Russell Westbrook throughout the summer, this upcoming New Jordans 2017 dons a Black and Camo color scheme. Featuring a full Black-based upper with Camouflage print overlays, Westbrook logos on the tongue and Jumpman logos on the back heel. Completing the look is a clean all-White rubber sole, similar to what you’d see on the Air Force 1.Solefly branding also makes its way onto its insoles and one of its tongues as the number 23 can be seen on its opposite tongue. The Air Jordan XX3 “Marlins” also rests atop a translucent Seafoam Green outsole which is complemented by a carbon fiber plate between the heel and forefoot.
I’ve been playing in these 2-3 times a week for approximately six months. All of their Kids Jordan Shoes have been outdoors and in small sided pick up games making them a shoe that has seen a lot of use and abuse. They are holding up extremely well under the circumstances and ticks all the boxes that are important to me, i.e., a fit that “locks in” my foot when moving laterally, durable cushion that absorbs shock but doesn’t feel “spongy”, and an upper that wraps firmly around your main foot area while integrating a thick “sock-like” section to provide some support for your ankle without going to the extent of a full traditional high-top shoe.
